Back in their day babies were placid little creatures who slept through the night from early on…

Children were seen and not heard, generally because they were orbiting on their own little planets.

A doctor’s advice could always be trusted.

Cigarettes were good for your health, and that of your precious baby.

And if an advert in the paper said something was safe, of course you believed it.  Why would they lie?

  1. There was a Soda Pop Board of America? These are fantastic!

  2. For real? My kid will get a better start in life because she’ll fit in better with her peers by already being addicted to soda? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Fantastic post, made me laugh.

  4. OMG! I feel guilty laughing – that’s hilarious, but SO concerning!!

Soda in your formative years…do they fit in because they’ll have no teeth left, like their peers?!

  5. I love this! So simple, yet so funny. Great post :)
