I’m quite a crafty person, and fairly handy with a sewing machine. So when my favourite pair of flannelette pyjama pants started coming apart, and then my other pair did the same a few days later, I figured I could save them. I’m sure it’s just coincidence and the age of these pants that caused this issue because it couldn’t possibly be from an increase in butt size. Yeah okay, it’s Winter and I might be eating more, exercising less, but it’s just bad luck that they split at the back when I bent over. Shut up!
As I did my best to sew up the tear on the bum, I had a brilliant idea. I would put a patch over the area so that if the stitching didn’t hold no one would know.
I went through my fabric box and found some flannelette and, in consultation with Master 4, decided to make a big heart to put on my posterior.
I probably should have thought about it just a little bit more….
Photo has been blurred to protect the bum’s identity. Or maybe it was just taken by a 4-year-old.

You look like a rutting baboon……..
Bwahahahahahahahaha. Yes. Yes I do.
This is what happens when we let the little people make fashion decisions for us. Just saying.
I don’t know what came over him. He usually has such good fashion sense…
