Three brother goats sacrificing each other for their fix of grass.
A troll with the munchies, living rough under a bridge.
Threats.
Murder.
No remorse.
The message is clear: Kids, don’t do grass.
I thought I’d start working on my writing skills by having a go at the Trifecta Writing Challenge. This weekend’s challenge is to take a famous story, poem, book, or fable, and retell it in exactly 33 words.

hahahahaha – and the moral of the story – short and sweet.
Short and sweet is good. I might have to rewrite all my children’s favourite stories for a quick getaway at bedtime.
Haha! I love The Three Billy Goats Gruff, so I had to come check this out! Love it!
It’s a favourite with my kids. I always feel really sorry for the troll ‘though. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
Neat. Loved this one.
Thank you
This was hilarious. Love the moral to the story.
Thanks Tara
Thanks for linking up to Trifextra this weekend. It’s said that all good stories teach a lesson. I love how you nailed it in only 33 words. Nicely done. Hope to see you back on Monday for the weekday challenge.
Thank you. I enjoyed giving it a go.
